that we provide free support and advice to anyone wanting to set up a Repair Café or Sharing Library?


Wouldn't it be fantastic if every community had a Repair Café and Library of Things?


So far we've been visited by and provided support and guidance to Biggar Area Climate Care, Greener Berwick and Coquetdale Climate Action to set up their own wonderful Repair Cafés. We're looking forward to meeting with Greener Berwick and Mid Lothian Climate Action Network, each planning on establishing their own Tool Library...

We'll be delighted to share what we've learned over the last three years - how to get started; challenges along the way; recruiting and keeping volunteers engaged; how to be part of the wider push for a circular economy...and lots more!

*The circular economy is a system where materials never become waste and nature is regenerated. In a circular economy, products and materials are kept in circulation through processes like maintenance, reuse, refurbishment, remanufacture, recycling, and composting. The circular economy tackles climate change and other global challenges, like biodiversity loss, waste, and pollution, by decoupling economic activity from the consumption of finite resources.
