Brilliant start to our 6 week workshop 'Sewing Skills with Sheena'. No time wasted as everyone learned the basics of how to use a sewing machine and then straight into choosing fabric scraps for cushion covers.
Over the 6 weeks, the group will be learning:
How to use a sewing machine
Hemming (curtains, trousers)
Fitting zips (trousers, bags)
Patching (including sashiko visible mending)
Darning (holes in woollen jumpers and socks)
Help with any other sewing projects!
