Bike Repair Cafe @ The Mart

We were able to host our first in-person event on Saturday - a Bike Repair Cafe @ The Mart, East Linton, with bike mechanics Andy and Dan. Over the course of 2 hours there was a steady stream of folk lining up for repairs

According to our feedback the overall experience was very positive: friendly, informative, a great initiative, good advice.

Specific lessons were learned in basic maintenance, checking tyre pressure, gear 'stuff', the 'M' check, gear mechanisms, cables, the anatomy of the bike, how to adjust brakes, how to adjust a headset that is too tight.
