We can't believe it's been two years since we opened the doors of East Linton Tool Library!
Back in May 2021 (East Linton Tool Library is Go!), we couldn't have imagined how popular our little cabin at The Mart would become!
An enormous thanks to our exceptional volunteers - Chris, Brian, Hanna, Dave, Martin, Bob, Jennifer, Liz, Malcolm and Muriel - for contributing your time, knowledge, talents, wisdom, humour, patience, energy and enthusiasm - and for making East Linton Tool Library the most welcoming, supportive, well-ordered, environmentally-engaged, all-round-fabulous 20 foot portakabin in the land!
And, of course, thank you to everyone in East Lothian who has become a member of East Linton Tool Library over the last two years. We love providing this resource for the community and seeing these tools being shared and used for all kinds of wonderful projects.

As a member of East Linton Tool Library you'll have access to a wide array of tools and "how-to" instruction manuals to help you with your home improvement, woodwork, bicycle, sewing, plumbing and general DIY projects.
You'll be able to borrow tools when you need them and return them when you're done so they can be used by someone else.
Our volunteers will carry out routine maintenance and repairs on all equipment to ensure good condition and extend the lifespan of the inventory.
