Over the next 6 weeks, Fixing for a Future's bike repair tutors, Andy Bradshaw and Dan Waters, will be working with 8 young people from East Lothian Works - Ryan, Logan, Junior, Cameron, Jordan, Luke, Rhys and John - to teach basic and more advanced bike repair and maintenance skills.

We got off to a great start today with many of the young people bringing their own bikes along and Steve Nelson of Beyond Boundaries East Lothian dropping off an extra 6 for us to work on (thanks very much, Steve!).

The aim of the workshops is to support these young people to develop their experience and confidence and help them into employment and training.

Today, Andy and Dan demonstrated the M check and everyone consolidated their knowledge of the various parts of a bike.

Many thanks to The Pennypit Centre for your kind hospitality. We look forward to seeing you all next week - same time, same place!
