It was our first and it definitely won't be our last!
What a wonderful day! Thank you to our dazzlingly talented and all-round terrific team and to everyone who joined us to make winter wonders from waste!
Everything at this event was made from stuff people had at home, including old bottle tops, cereal boxes, lollipop sticks, small scraps of fabric, cocktail sticks, beads and buttons, old newspapers. The only thing bought was glue!
So much creativity and joy in one community hall!
In fact, it was so much fun, we might not be able to wait until next Christmas!

Here are just a few of many positive comments:
"This is amazing! At home crafting always makes such a mess - we hardly ever bother but here they can be free and they're all doing their own thing"
"I just love this!"
"I walked by the hall and thought there was no-one in it was so quiet but then I peeped inside and it's full of kids. They're all so engrossed in their crafting!"
"We need more of this!"
"Kids are always underestimated. If you give them a chance, the skills and creativity are all there"
"There's so much loneliness and getting people together like this to do something mindful and with your hands is really valuable, instead of feeling stuck in a box at home. The intergenerational thing is really amazing!"
"While the kids are busy, I'm looking forward to relaxing and learning some crafty skills myself"
