Congratulations, Carpenters!

Thursday was the last session of Fixing for a Future's 6 week carpentry workshop at Fisherrow Centre, Musselburgh.

Congratulations to our participants - Josh, Cameron, Kyle and John!

Many thanks to our tutors, George Young and Fiona Gilfillan, from the Chippendale International School of Furniture, for sharing their expertise and introducing the group to the art of carpentry. It's been brilliant!

Over the 6 weeks some outstanding work was produced with everyone making their own wooden box with hinges, creepie stool and carved wooden spoon!

Over the next 6 weeks, Sheena Carss of Seams Sew will be running a textile repair workshop for another group of young people referred by East Lothian Works.
